We played the last full band gig the other night in Hamburg, it was a great venue and had a real country vibe to it; the sound was fantastic.
We said goodbye to Matt, Yiannis and Tom yesterday morning at the Airport. We later found out yesterday afternoon that they were still stuck at the airport and couldn’t take off due to bad fog!!… Sorry lads!
Tom and I played the first acoustic gig of the tour last night in Copenhagen. We played 5 songs from the album and although we both missed not having the other lads there, we had a great night and really enjoyed it.
We checked in to the hotel after the gig last night and managed to watch the last half of the England game!! Oh yeah, managed to taste a few bottles of Carlsberg! Hey, it would’ve been rude not to..!! J
We had a great breakfast at the hotel this morning and the sun was shining bright when we left Copenhagen. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to look around as we had to get on the bus and get to the next venue, but it was still great to catch a glimpse of it through the windows.
We met up with the rest of the band in Amsterdam for the last full band gig. We’ve been hearing some pretty funny stories about the Paradiso. The last time Kim played there, Ricky fell over and knocked into Nick (bass player) and gave him a black eye. I’m pretty accident prone, I just hope I can get through the gig without a major catastrophe!! …. Should be fun!!
